What do the Buyout Price and Daily Rent mean?

When placing a game order, the amount you actually pay is the game's "Buyout Price." If you only need the "Rental Service," the buyout price will not be the final settlement cost of your order. The settlement cost upon returning the lease is typically calculated as: Daily Rent × Rental Days.

Example:

  • Suppose a game's daily rent is 0.5, the buyout price is 30, and you actually used it for 10 days.
  • Settlement amount: 0.5 × 10 = 5 (If the order includes a system backup service, an additional backup service fee of 3 is required).
  • Refund amount: 30 - 5 = 25 will be refunded to your original payment method.

I. What is the "Buyout Price"?
The actual amount you pay when placing an order on the platform is the buyout price. If you do not need the rental service and wish to purchase the game permanently, paying this fee gives you full and permanent ownership of the game and the account. You can change the account's security information at any time, and own and play the game permanently.

II. What is the "Rental Service"?
On top of the "buyout" option, the platform provides an additional, highly flexible rental service. Within the "Maximum Lease Term," you have complete freedom to choose:

  • Clear the game & get a refund: Once you beat the game, you can return the lease directly and get the remaining order fee back.
  • Game trial: If you try it and find it's not your type, you can return the lease at any time to cut your losses.
  • Convert to buyout: If you really enjoy the game after experiencing it, you don't need to do anything; it will automatically convert to a buyout upon expiration.

When you apply for a lease return, the system will calculate your actual cost based on the daily rent, deduct it from your initial buyout payment, and refund the remaining balance to your original payment method.

III. What is the Minimum Lease Term?
The minimum lease term refers to the minimum settlement cycle of an order. It does not mean you must wait a full week before returning the lease; you can return it at any time.

Example: The daily rent is 0.5, and you successfully return the lease after using it for 1 day. Since it is less than a week, the final settlement cost of the order is calculated based on the minimum cycle: 0.5 × 7 = 3.5.

IV. What is the Maximum Lease Term?
The maximum lease term is the longest period the platform provides rental services for the current order.

  • Within the maximum lease term, you can apply for a lease return at any time according to the rules and get the remaining fee refunded.
  • Once the maximum lease term is exceeded, the platform will no longer provide the lease return service for that order, and it will be directly treated as a "Buyout."

V. Are renewals supported?
The platform does not support automatic renewals. If you are approaching the "Maximum Lease Term" and haven't finished the game but do not wish to buy it out, you must first complete the lease return settlement process, and then place a new order.

VI. Rent Settlement Summary

  • Less than a week: Settled as one week (7 days).
  • More than a week: Settled based on the actual number of days used.
  • Exceeding the maximum lease term: Directly converted to a buyout.

Note: Under certain violation or special circumstances, the platform does not provide rental services. For details, please refer to other relevant help documents.
