Under what circumstances will an order automatically convert to a "buyout"?

To ensure the security and normal circulation of digital assets, the platform's "Lease Return Service" will be terminated, and your order will automatically or forcibly convert to a "buyout" status if any of the following situations occur.

Note: Once an order is converted to a buyout, the remaining balance will not be refunded. Ownership of the account and the game will belong to you permanently. If the account is banned due to violations, you shall bear all associated losses and risks yourself.

The situations are categorized into the following three types:

I. Normal Timeout (Standard Buyout)

Exceeding the Maximum Lease Term: This is the most common scenario. Each product has a "Maximum Lease Term." If you do not apply for a lease return and complete the console-side unbinding process before the deadline, the system will assume you have chosen to keep the game permanently, and the order will automatically convert to a buyout.

II. Obstructing Account Recovery (Forced Buyout due to Abnormal Operation)

Refusal to Unbind / False Return Submission: The sole prerequisite for a lease return is "completing the account unbinding or deauthorization on your game console." If you repeatedly submit return requests without unbinding as instructed, or refuse to cooperate with the unbinding process, resulting in the platform's inability to recover the account, the lease return service will be terminated, and the order will be settled directly as a buyout.

III. Risk Control & Violations (Forced Buyout due to Breach of Contract)
During the service period, if the risk control system or manual verification detects any of the following violations, the order will be immediately forcibly converted to a buyout, and all refunds will be terminated:

  • Unauthorized Data Tampering: Privately modifying the account's original password, bound email, security questions, or any other security information without permission.
  • Account Sharing / Abnormal Login: Logging into the account on multiple consoles, PCs, or other devices simultaneously, or lending/sharing the leased account with others.
  • Cheating & Hacking: Using any third-party illegal plugins, hacks, auxiliary software, or trainers in the game, or exploiting system vulnerabilities for improper gain.
  • Violating Official Agreements: Using the account to engage in any behavior that violates the official service agreements of Sony (PlayStation) or Nintendo (Switch) and relevant laws and regulations (e.g., posting illegal information, fraud, abuse, etc.).
  • System Sabotage: Using technical means to attack the platform's system, illegally crawling data, or exploiting vulnerabilities for improper gain.
